PLEASE NOTE: You must register for this workshop (limit: 20 people) and complete the liability form when you register. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed. Other requirements are described below.

The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) takes place February 18th through the 21st, 2022. Count birds anywhere—you don't even need a backyard to participate! Anyone with an internet connection, anywhere in the world, can take part, even through a mobile device. All skill levels are very welcome—if you can identify a single species of bird, we want to hear from you. During this training at the Denver Audubon Nature Center, learn about GBBC and how to identify basic Colorado birds, participate in the count, and submit your observations to science!

Presented by Graham Ray, Audubon Master Birder.

The Great Backyard Bird Count is led by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society with Canadian partner, Bird Studies Canada. The program website is https://www.birdcount.org/.
