Habitats for Homeschoolers- The Great Backyard Bird Count

• • PLEASE NOTE: You must register for this field trip (limit: 40 people) and complete the liability form when you register. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed. Other requirements are described below.

The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) takes place February 17th through the 20th, 2023. Count birds anywhere—you don’t even need a backyard to participate! Anyone with an Internet connection, anywhere in the world, can take part, even through a mobile device. All ages and skill levels are very welcome—if you can identify a single species of bird, we want to hear from you. During this training, learn about GBBC and how to identify basic birds, participate in the count, and submit your observations to science!
