In 2020, the Lois Webster Fund granted funding to the following three projects. Join us to learn how these projects will help in the conservation of Colorado wildlife:
• The Recovery of Wild Bees Following a Catastrophic Flood—how have the bee populations recovered after the 2013 St. Vrain Creek flood?
• The Migration, Movement and Patterns of the Black Swift—what insights were gained in how Black Swifts procure their food & how many hours they fly foraging each day.
• The Behavior and Demography of Breeding Bald Eagles in the Northern Front Range of Colorado—learn the struggles of trying to outfit Bald Eagles with transmitters to track their movements.
Each project leader will present their project and results followed by a question & answer period from viewers. These project presentations have always been fascinating, whether live or virtual.
Please contact Tudi Arneill at (303) 921-5632 if you have questions about the program.
