Event Details
Join Denver Audubon Master Birder, Crystal Reser, on this early morning outing to immerse yourself in nature and the birds and wildlife that call this area their home. Mindful birding focuses on developing your senses of hearing, sight, smell and even intuition. In this way we enhance our awareness, calm our brains and feel a deeper connection to nature.
Beginners to advanced birders, over the age of 16 are welcome. We will travel approximately 1 mile on flat gravel trails, stopping periodically for 5 to 15 minutes to practice sensory meditations and allow the birds to come to us. If you're unable to sit on the ground or stand for this length of time, please bring a small packable stool.
