Spend a day at a beaver dam and learn about the incredible adaptations of one of Colorado’s most important keystone species. We’ll hike and play as we explore how beavers shape their habitats. Try your paw at building a beaver dam of your own.
Each Thursday this summer, from 9am-noon, we’ll explore the ponds, forests, and meadows at the Nature Center with a new theme. Register for one class or for all of them! Ages 6-11. Please bring a snack, water bottle, clothes and shoes that can get wet/muddy, and dress to be outside. Please apply sunscreen before the class. Registration required.
