Event Details

Denver Audubon and CSU Extension Arapahoe County have joined forces to offer monthly collaborative nature programs in Arapahoe County. Join our staff and volunteers as we explore the native plants and birds along the Cherry Creek trail. This month’s location will feature the 17-Mile Farm House Park, a historical Arapahoe County Open Space. We will search for early-blooming wildflowers and shrubs, newly emerging pollinators, and spring migratory birds. We may even catch a glimpse of the local beaver habitat!

Meeting Place: 17-mile Farm House Park, 8181 S Parker Rd, Centennial, CO 80016

Please Note: If you have registered and no longer can attend the field trip, please contact the Denver Audubon Office at 303-973-9530 as soon as possible. 

  •  Advance registration, including signing of the liability waiver is required. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed. 

  • You are responsible for bringing your own binoculars, water, snacks for optimum experience 

  • Cameras are permitted 

  • This trip is accessible for those with specialized mobility considerations.
