The Cherry Creek corridor provides a wonderful habitat for thriving native plants, diverse birds, and interesting insects! Join us for an early evening exploration in hopes of spotting Little Brown Bats and Common Nighthawks. Denver Audubon and CSU Extension trip leaders will discuss how to improve observation skills by sight, sound, and smell.
Participants will meet at the iconic 17 Mile House Farm Park, a 155-year old farm that served as an important resting stop for pioneers traveling on the Cherokee/Smoky Hill wagon trails in the 1860s.
Meeting Place: 17 Mile House Farm Park, 8181 S. Parker Rd., Centennial, CO 80016.
