PROGRAM FULL - Nature Walk N' Talk with CSU Arapahoe Extension and Denver Audubon

Denver Audubon and CSU Extension Arapahoe County have joined forces to offer monthly collaborative nature programs in Arapahoe County. Join our staff and volunteers as we explore the native plants, birds, and seasonal insects present along the Cherry Creek trail. This month’s location will feature the 17-Mile Farm House Park, a historical Arapahoe County Open Space. We will explore early spring migratory birds and year-round residents, talk about insect adaptations and over-wintering techniques, plus native shrubs and trees to support wildlife.

Please Note: If you have registered and no longer can attend the walk, please contact the Denver Audubon Office (Rhonda Shank 303-973-9530) as soon as possible. 

•  Advance registration, including signing of the liability waiver is required. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed. 

• You are responsible for bringing your own binoculars, water, snacks and sunscreen for optimum experience 

• Cameras are permitted 

• This trip is accessible for those with mobility issues.
