Event Details

Denver Audubon and CSU Extension Arapahoe County have joined forces to offer monthly collaborative nature programs in Arapahoe County. Join our staff and volunteers as we explore the native plants, birds, and seasonal insects present along the Cherry Creek trail. This month’s location will feature the Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park, a well-kept secret and yet easily accessible birding hotspot. We will explore spring migratory birds and year-round residents, look for early season insect activity, and keep an eye out for first floral blooms. All wildlife and plant observations will be uploaded to the Community Science App iNaturalist as we complete in the Global City Nature Challenge Competition happening April 28 to May 1!

Trip Leader: Kate Hogan. Please call Kate at 720-214-2743 if you have any questions about this field trip.
