PROGRAM FULL - Nature Walk N' Talk with CSU Arapahoe Extension and Denver Audubon

Denver Audubon and CSU Extension Arapahoe County have joined forces to offer monthly collaborative nature programs in Arapahoe County. Join our staff and volunteers as we explore the native plants, birds, and seasonal insects present along the Cherry Creek trail. This month’s location will feature a dusk field trip at Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park, a well-kept secret and yet easily accessible birding hotspot. We will explore nesting migratory birds and year-round residents, look for nocturnal bats, and keep an eye out for late summer floral blooms.  A perfect after-work adventure on a summer evening!

•  Advance registration, including signing of the liability waiver is required. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed. 

• You are responsible for bringing your own binoculars, water, snacks for optimum experience 

• Cameras are permitted 

• This trip is accessible for those with specialized mobility considerations.
