"Birding Camp" is a full day spring break camp where kids can learn the fundamental skills of birding and become defenders of birds and other wildlife in our community. This avian adventure is designed as an immersive, educational experience for young nature enthusiasts and aspiring birders to learn bird identification skills, bird calls and behavior, migration patterns, and more. Guided by experienced ornithologists and naturalists, campers will explore scenic trails, binoculars in hand, to spot a variety of bird species in their natural habitats. Through games, hikes, and hands-on demonstrations, participants will deepen their understanding and appreciation for birds and the conservation issues that affect our feathered friends. Join us for a day of discovery, nature, and a chorus of bird song in the Colorado outdoors.
This is a seven hour drop off program for children 7+, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Please dress warm, bring a refillable water bottle, a lunch, and snacks!
