At this popular Denver park, we will explore Duck Lake and Ferril Lake at a leisurely pace in search of ducks, geese, resident songbirds, woodpeckers, and raptors. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair from us!

Event Details

Denver Audubon is excited to host our very first “Birding Without Barriers” field trip designed for community members in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. At this popular Denver park, we will explore Duck Lake and Ferril Lake at a leisurely pace in search of ducks, geese, resident songbirds, woodpeckers, and raptors. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair from us!

 

Meeting Place: City Park offers a convenient parking area just north of City Park Pavilion and in between Duck Lake and Ferril Lake. We will meet just south of the parking lot on the east side of the Pavilion next to Ferril Lake.

 

Leaders: Audubon staff and Master Birder volunteers.

 

Registration required. No fee. Donations to Denver Audubon appreciated!
