Virtual Bird Illustration Workshop

As Bryce W. Robinson, ornithological illustrator, guides you through an illustration of an Eastern Screech Owl, he will explain his technique and approach to illustrating realistic birds in field guide format. Recommended supplies include a journal or blank paper and your favorite sketching implement (pencil or pen). Ages 12 and up welcome!

Bryce W. Robinson is an ornithologist and illustrator based in Ithaca, New York where he is currently working towards a PhD at Cornell University and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. He has authored many scientific publications that feature his illustrations. Currently, Bryce is working on a few illustration projects, including contributing to a field guide to the birds of Costa Rica.
