New to birding?  The Young Birders Club will kick off the fall with an outdoor 30 minute introduction to basic field ID techniques including field marks, flight patterns, silhouettes, and birding by ear at the Lois Webster Amphitheater behind the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield.  The hike will be easy to moderate at times. Participants need to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a small backpack with a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and a snack.
