Spring is in the air, and with it, the return of many migratory birds that have been away all winter! Led by DA Master Birders, this trip is tailored for young birdwatchers and their grown-ups. Plan to explore approximately 3 miles along Clear Creek, on mostly flat, paved, gravel, and boardwalk surfaces. We hope to find many newly arriving insect-eaters, such as warblers, swallows, and wrens, and will also be on the lookout for more uncommon species of sparrows and shorebirds that may just be passing through on their way to more northerly breeding grounds!
Meeting Location: Wheat Ridge Greenbelt Youngfield Entrance, located at 3862 Youngfield Service Rd., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
